2018 Sales Excellence Award Finalists Announced

Top Sales Teams across the US View for Awards on June 15

May 7, 2018 – Vienna, Va. – The Institute for Excellence in Sales (IES) announced today the 21 finalists for its 2018 Sales Excellence Awards. The awards recognize organizational sales operational excellence and have been referred to as the “Oscars” for sales teams and organizations. The awards will be presented at a gala breakfast on June 15 in Falls Church, VA. Learn more about the award event and register here.

The finalists are:

Excellence in Sales Innovation: DLT, Net2Source, Outreach, WTOP
Excellence in Sales Training: cStor, Cvent, Erie Insurance, Hanover Research, Maestro
Excellence in Sales Management: Baxter Healthcare, Becton-Dickinson, Blackbaud, Cvent, Genesys, Honeywell-Aerospace, Juniper, T. Rowe Price
Excellence in Customer Partnering/Strategic Alliances: Carahsoft, CloudCheckr, HortonWorks, LearningTree

The 8th annual Lifetime Achievement Award will be awarded to Amazon Web Services Public Sector GM Teresa Carlson at the event. Paul Smith, GM of Red Hat’s Public Sector Division and the 2017 IES Lifetime Achievement Winner, will present the award to Ms. Carlson.

Keri Shull, President of the Keri Shull Team, will receive the Women in Sales Leadership award.

Gina Stracuzzi will receive the IES Member of the Year Award.

“The excellence demonstrated by the nominees was exemplary,” said Fred Diamond, President and Co-Founder of the IES. “Many of the nominees were well-known brands that have put critical sales and business development programs and processes in place to ensure that they continue to grow and service their customers around the globe.”

“It’s well acknowledged that Sales continues to grow in complexity as customers continue to take the lead in the sales process as more information is now available to them. With this transformation in the buying process, the leading sales organizations and leaders, though, are developing ways to ensure that they provide as much value as possible to help their prospects reach their goals. The companies that made it to the finals have demonstrated this excellence,” said Diamond.

Finalists were selected from a large pool of nominees by an independent panel of expert judges for their commitment to excellence in multiple sales and business development categories.

Over 250 sales and business development professionals are expected to attend the June 15 award event, which will be held at the Marriott Fairview Park in Falls Church, Virginia. A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the Northern Virginia Family Service (NVFS).
