Fred has led the IES to become a leading source of sales excellence, content development, and premiere sales training solutions. Fred himself is an exceptional speaker who frequently helps companies improve their sales processes and stay ahead of trends.

Brian Green is the Senior Vice President of North America Sales and Client Enterprise Solutions at Learning Tree International. He sits on the IES Executive Leadership Advisory Board. He is a past IES Member of the Year.
Brian is a highly-accomplished client engagement leader in the professional training, coaching and IT management/consulting industries. He has a longstanding commitment to designing, developing and delivering creative solutions that delivered attributable results for both customer and employer.
Heather Combs is the Chief Revenue Officer at 3Pillar Global. She sits on the IES Executive Leadership Advisory Board. She has been a speaker at the IES Women in Sales program.
She is known as a tenacious sales executive with proven performance in business unit management, product marketing, B2B sales, customer success, new product development, communications and strategic partnerships.
Darrell Gehrt, Senior Vice President of Sales brings over two decades of experience in senior management roles at fast-growing technology companies, where he has built and led successful sales organizations.
Darrell joined Cvent pre-IPO in January 2013 and has led several product lines including Web Survey, Mobile, and in 2020 took on the pivot to virtual event technology.
Today Darrell leads revenue responsibilities for Attendee Hub, the next generation engagement platform encompassing mobile and virtual platforms, co-leads overall Mid-Market sales around the world, and sits on Senior Management. In addition, Darrell has also been a lead contributor for 3 mobile acquisitions for Cvent.
Prior to joining Cvent, Darrell held senior sales leadership roles at Angel, Inc., a division of MicroStrategy, with successful exit in a strategic sale, ran sales at SaaS startup Parature (acquired by Microsoft), and ran several divisions for TARUGSinfo (acquired by NeuStar).
Darrell also sits on the Virginia Tech Pamplin Board of Advisors for the Professional Sales Minor (served as inaugural president for two terms) and also sits on the Board of Advisors for Institute for Excellence in Sales. Married with two teenage children, the family enjoys traveling to ice rinks around the country for hockey and figure skating in the winter and spending time on Lake Anna in the summer.
Gina StracuzziProgram Director, Women in Sales
Gina Stracuzzi leads the IES Women in Sales Program, including the Women in Sales Leadership Forum. She was the IES Member of the Year for 2018.
For more than 20 years, she has provided strategic business development, sales training, marketing communication, and branding advice to start-ups and small to medium-sized businesses across a variety of industries. Her passions are connecting people and businesses with new ways to reach their target audience in ways that elevate all parties, and helping women develop their passions. I’m driven by everyone coming away better, stronger, and closer to their goals!
