IES Also Expands Industry-Leading Offerings for Women in Sales to Help Leadership Growth

VIENNA, Va. – Sep. 8, 2022 — The Institute for Excellence in Sales (IES) announced its new Premier Women in Sales Employer (PWISE) designation today to help give women in sales insights into the top employers that support their career growth aspirations. The IES also announced expansion of its current leadership programs for women in sales.

The IES runs several initiatives specifically for the professional development of women in business-to-business (B2B) and enterprise sales into leadership roles. This new designation, the IES’ fourth, will help the IES elevate the urgent need for the recruitment and promotion of more women into enterprise sales and sales leadership.

“The IES has been running a program for women in sales at top companies for a number of years,” said IES Cofounder Fred Diamond. “Our program director, Gina Stracuzzi, has developed a program that is changing lives which helps companies become more successful. Our sponsors will reap plenty of value from our new initiatives.”

Premier Women in Sales Employer (PWISE) Applications Now Open

Attracting diverse talent is a huge present-day challenge for companies who need to show themselves as world-class employers. The designation is the definitive way to recognize companies that are exceptional places of employment for top-tier women in sales professionals.

Eligible companies must complete an application process. An independent judging committee will aid in the selection of the companies that achieve a pre-set criteria to be awarded the designation. The achievement will be listed in a new guide and website that will be published in January 2023.

Women in Sales Leadership Forum Expansion

The IES also announced that one of its most popular programs, the Women in Sales Leadership Forum, has been modified to meet the needs of companies looking to support their women in sales.

The IES also announced that it is now offering the Forum inside companies as an internal program.

“When a leader graduates from the Forum, the value they bring back to their company is immense,” said Ms. Stracuzzi. “Companies with many sales leaders, some across the globe, have reached out and asked us to bring the Forum inside their company to help more women in sales grow as leaders.”

The Leadership Forum, a multi-session cohort of women in sales leaders from leading companies, will be expanded from its current 3-month length and will have more community-building features included. This new model will start with the Winter 2023 Forum that starts January 2023.

Other Initiatives

The IES offers the industry’s only weekly podcast featuring women in sales thought leaders or sales leaders. The show is under the Sales Game Changers Podcast brand.

IES also presents its Women in Sales Leadership Award every spring at its annual Sales Excellence Award Event. The 6th Annual Award was presented to VMWare Public Sector General Manager Jennifer Chronis. The 2023 recipient will be announced in late 2022.

The IES will be publishing “Insights for Sales Game Changers: Women in Sales Leadership” in 2023. It will be the second book offered by the IES.
