Rita DeFilippo is the Vice President of Global Public Sector Sales Programs at Salesforce. In this role she empowers sales teams to exceed their goals by developing and executing programs which facilitate pipeline generation and maturation within the Global Public Sector market. As a 25-year veteran of sales, she’s held individual contributor and leadership roles across multiple industries. Prior to joining Salesforce, she served as a sales leader at Oracle Public Sector. An entrepreneur by nature, in 2004 she launched a small business, which she led for a nine-year period.
Rita holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from Radford University. She currently serves as an executive sponsor for the DC Chapter of Salesforce Women’s Network where she is passionate about mentorship and elevating the voices of women.
