2016 IES Sales Excellence Award Finalists Announced

Top Sales Teams across the US View for Awards on June 3; Lifetime Achievement Award to immixGroup Leaders

The Institute for Excellence in Sales (IES) announced today the 20 finalists for its 2016 Sales Excellence Awards. The awards recognize organizational sales and business development operational excellence and are often referred to as the “Oscars” for sales teams and organizations.
The finalists are:

  • Excellence in Sales Innovation: Dataprise, DLT Solutions, Learning Tree International, Social Tables
  • Excellence in Sales Training: Deltek, RES Software, StoneStreet, TrackMaven
  • Excellence in Sales Management: DC United, Hobsons, Proxios, WeddingWire
  • Excellence in Customer Partnering: Decision Lens, Iron Bow, National Office Systems, WinVale
  • Excellence in Strategic Alliances: Carahsoft, Everfi, LiveSafe, NetApp

The 6th annual Lifetime Achievement Award will be awarded to Art Richer, Steve Charles and Jeff Copeland of immixGroup. Mark Weber, former leader of NetApp’s America’s Business and the 2015 IES Lifetime Achievement Winner, will present the award to Richer, Charles, and Copeland.

“We are honored to recognize the 2016 IES award finalists who have demonstrated operational excellence across the sales lifecycle,” said Fred Diamond, Co-Founder and Executive Director of the IES. “The finalists ranged from Fortune 50 companies to high-growth, high-energy firms and represented a diverse array of industries.”

“We are also honored to present our Lifetime Achievement Award to the industry luminaries from immixGroup,” said Diamond. “Their achievements are truly remarkable and are well deserved of the recognition they will receive on June 3.”

Finalists were selected from a large pool of nominees by an independent panel of expert judges for their commitment to excellence in five sales and business development categories.

Over 250 sales and business development professionals are expected to attend the awards event, which will be held at the Marriott Fairview Park in Falls Church, Virginia. A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the Northern Virginia Family Service (NVFS).
