VIENNA, Va. – Mar. 12, 2021 — The Institute for Excellence in Sales (IES) announced its new Women in Sales (WIS) Advisory Board today to help the organization advance its growing number of programs for Women in Sales.

IES started its WIS program in 2015, and now runs several initiatives specifically for the professional development of women in business-to-business (B2B) and enterprise sales. The addition of an advisory board comprised of world-class sales and thought leaders will help IES help elevate the urgent need for the recruitment and promotion of more women into enterprise sales and sales leadership.

The preeminent IES program is the Women in Sales Leadership Forum, a six-session leadership development cohort for high-performing women in sales leaders.  Women from companies including Oracle, Salesforce, Intel, Red Hat, Datasite, SAP NS2 and Amazon Web Services, along with many others have participated in the live Forum cohorts in the DC Metro and the virtual cohorts from all over the globe.

Additionally, IES offers the industry’s only weekly webcast featuring women in sales thought leaders or sales leaders. The show is hosted every Tuesday at noon EST, by the WIS Leadership Forum Co-Founder and Program Director Gina Stracuzzi. Each webinar is converted to a weekly episode of the award-winning Sales Game Changers Podcast.

“There is a real need to bring about gender equity in the number of women in sales leadership,” said Stracuzzi. “IES programs provide both the opportunity for companies to support the professional development of the women on their teams and to reach their stated equity goals.”

IES also presents its Women in Sales Leadership Award every spring at its annual Sales Excellence Award Event. The 5th Annual Award will be presented on June 3, to IBM Public Sector GM, Courtney Bromley.

“Since 2015, the IES has been privileged to run successful Women in Sales programs that have benefitted sales leaders at IES member companies such as Intel, Cvent, Red Hat and others,” said IES Cofounder Fred Diamond. “Announcing this Advisory Board is a proud milestone that aligns perfectly with our mission to help sales leaders retain, motivate, and elevate top-tier sales talent.”

The Advisory Board will help guide the program and help with new initiatives such as mentorship and program development.
