Top Sales Teams across the US View for Awards on May 31

April 24, 2019 – Vienna, Va. – The Institute for Excellence in Sales (IES) announced today the 23 finalists for its 2019 Sales Excellence Awards. The awards recognize organizational sales operational excellence and have been referred to as the “Oscars” for sales teams and organizations. The awards will be presented at a gala breakfast on May 31 in Falls Church, VA. Learn more about the award event and register here.

The finalists are:

  • Excellence in Sales Innovation: DLT, General Motors, immixGroup, The Keri Shull Team, McDermott Will & Emery LLP, NeuStar
  • Excellence in Sales Training: DISYS, Farm Bureau, Hanover Research, Hobsons, MSD, Tyson Group
  • Excellence in Sales Management: Benzer Pharmacy, Cloudera, Cvent, Earth Networks, NVIDIA, Sabre, SyncDog
  • Excellence in Customer Partnering: Carahsoft/Salesforce, Juniper, Page After Page, Tableau

The 9th annual Lifetime Achievement Award will be awarded to SAP NS2 CEO Mark Testoni. Amazon Web Services Public Sector GM Teresa Carlson and the 2018 IES Lifetime Achievement Winner, will present the award to Testoni at the event.

Gigi Schumm, Sr. VP of Sales at ThreatQuotient, will receive the Women in Sales Leadership award.

Heather Combs of 3Pillar Global, will receive the IES Member of the Year Award.

“The excellence demonstrated by the nominees was exemplary,” said Fred Diamond, President and Co-Founder of the IES. “It’s great to see a lot of new companies on this year’s list. Many of the nominees were well-known brands that have put critical sales and business development programs and processes in place to ensure that they continue to grow and service their customers around the globe.”

The companies that made it to the finals have demonstrated this excellence,” said Diamond.

Finalists were selected from a large pool of nominees by an independent panel of expert judges for their commitment to excellence in multiple sales and business development categories.

Over 300 sales and business development professionals are expected to attend the May 31 award event, which will be held at the Marriott Fairview Park in Falls Church, Virginia. A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the Northern Virginia Family Service (NVFS).
