Vice President, Red Hat State & Local Government and Education (SLED). Ms. Bohannan has over 30+ years of in-depth management, technical and sales experience. Her experience includes almost 3 years at IBM covering the Federal Government in multiple roles, a 15 year career at Microsoft that included positions such as Joint DoD Sales, General Manager Public Sector Services, General Manager North America National Sales and Strategy, Vice President Microsoft North America Services Sales and Global Services Sales. She also had a long tenure as a system integrator at Hughes Aircraft working in the satellite command and control classified world. In addition to IBM, Microsoft, and Hughes, she also spent a few years at a start-up, Blueprint Technologies, and ran her own sales consulting business.
Ms. Bohannan’s focus is making customers and partners successful. She has a passion around developing solutions that exceed customers objectives, drive digital transformation, and delight end customers. Her strength is her diverse background that includes hands-on technical roles, technical management, large program project management, business development (commercial, Public Sector and international) and senior sales. She has worked in the enterprise and mid-market spaces teaming with the channel to grow businesses. She received her BA in Mathematics/Computer Science from Stephens College and a MA in Management Information Systems at George Washington University. Ms. Bohannan is a proud mother of three young adults.
