Mary Beth Cockerham

2017 Women in Sales Leadership Recipient

As Deltek Vice President of Sales, Ms. Cockerham leads the sales teams responsible for all new member acquisition for Deltek’s GovWin IQ, offering business intelligence to companies pursuing public sector sales. She is also responsible for the Global Sales Development teams. She joined Deltek as part of the INPUT acquisition in 2010.

Prior to joining INPUT in 2006, Ms. Cockerham enjoyed a 20 year sales career at Sun Microsystems, where she held a variety of sales and sales management positions in both public sector and commercial sales. She participated in the introduction of Sun’s Federal reseller program and during her tenure at Sun she partnered with many of the technology vendors who comprise the GovWin Network.

A self-professed “data geek”, Ms. Cockerham enjoys both the science of analytics and the art of coaching that is required of successful sales executives. While she has dedicated her entire career to sales, it became truly a family business last year when her older child graduated from college and became a Sales Development Rep for a local technology firm.

Ms. Cockerham graduated from Middlebury College with a B.A. in Political Science.
