Women in Sales

The IES Women in Sales program helps female sales professionals become part of a strong, supportive community, grow their trusted networks, develop business, and grow as sales leaders. The program was developed by a team of successful sales professionals to address issues and challenges uniquely experienced by females within the sales profession. If you sell for a living, you need to be a member of IES Women in Sales! The program is a benefit of IES membership although guests are welcome.

IES Women in Sales provides members with a collaborative and motivational community within which to explore and discuss issues and challenges, as well as current, trending topics of interest to sales women in the workplace. IES Women in Sales additionally offers members various opportunities to strengthen their career and professional development through the exchange of advice, experience, education and mentorship.

Help Us Grow WIS!

Women in Sales (WiS) is one of IES’ most important efforts to support the selling community and it is quickly becoming an indispensable tool for women in the IES community. The vision for WiS is to create a community of participation, contribution, innovation and mutual mentorship for women who love selling.

We are well on our way to making this vision a reality, but for any community to truly grow and flourish it needs the involvement of its members. That’s where you come in.

Below is a list of tasks that support the rotation of WiS Straight-TALK! and Straight-UP! initiatives currently planned each quarter. None of them require a big commitment of time—we appreciate how busy everyone is and we want you to have fun, not get burnt out! So take a look at the list and find something you enjoy doing or that you know you can do easily given your network and resources. If you think you can help in some other way not listed here, let us know. Happy to hear your thoughts and ideas!

Please feel free to contact us with any questions, comments, concerns you may have.

Thank you,
Gina Stracuzzi & Phyllis Riley, Your WiS Co-chairs
