Chris was recently promoted to promoted President & General Manager of Blackbaud’s Higher Ed Vertical. Sales is still a key part of what he oversees, and he will speak to some of the questions not only as a Sales Leader but also a business leader.
ABOUT CHRIS KRACKELER
Chris has a 20-year track record of leading high performing sales and business development organizations at the intersection of tech and social good. Prior to his current role as President & General Manager for Higher Education Solutions, Chris was Vice President of Sales for Blackbaud’s Non-Profit vertical. He has been with Blackbaud since 2012.
Chris came to Blackbaud as VP of Enterprise Sales at Convio, where he helped double revenue over a four-year period leading up to its successful IPO in 2010. Before Convio, Chris led startup GetActive Software to establish and rapidly grow the company’s presence in the digital engagement market.
Chris currently serves as Executive Sponsor of Blackbaud’s Women in Sales (WIS) mentorship program. He also previously served on the Board of Directors for the Center for Lobbying in the Public Interest. He holds a BA in Political Science from Georgetown University, where he graduated with Cum Laude honors.
When not working, he is an avid cyclist, tennis player and [solidcore] enthusiast.
ABOUT MEG ARNOLD
Meg Arnold is Director of Strategic Account Sales at Blackbaud and is also Co-Chair of Blackbaud’s Women in Sales Affinity Group. Prior to Blackbaud, she has worked in various Sales Management roles at Dell Computer and Software Spectrum. When she isn’t working, she is tending to her rescue dogs Frankie and Rizzo, baking, volunteering with Impact Austin and since the beginning of the pandemic, binging on British crime shows on streaming services.
